Tucker Carlson Tonight

A friend has traveled throughout the 50 states and considers Maine to be the most beautiful. I had been a couple of times before – and could appreciate her comments. I was fortunate enough to plan to revisit the state this fall.
Meanwhile, my favorite policy/political show on television happens to be Tucker Carlson Tonight. It shows on weeknights at 8 p.m. Eastern on the Fox News Channel. I like it because I can hear in one hour an insightful, concise summary of the day’s issues by someone I’ve long considered to often be “the smartest guy in the room.” I regularly DVR the program and make watching it a priority.
So when I landed in the Portland, Maine airport at the beginning of the trip, I was surprised to discover that I had walked right by him without realizing it. I spun around and caught up with him before he boarded his flight back to D.C. Not only is he smart, but he is genuinely nice and was gracious enough to take a few minutes for conversation with strangers. It was my lucky day! I can't recommend his show more highly - well worth current event discussions around the dinner table or in your classroom.
